Half Life Level - Escape
A level made to fit within the Half-Life 2 campaign. This was a personal project to learn the Hammer editor and improve Level Design skills.

I took inspiration from "Red Letter Day" the second level in valves game Half Life 2. I liked the limitations imposed by having a restricted arsenal and the sense of overwhelming power conveyed by the enemy Combine forces.

The players goal is to escape the Combine. The level sequence developed involves the player fighting through a crowded street, through a drained harbour, and into a sewer system with a secret bunker.
Level Design Concept
To aid with the creation of this level, I wanted to try a different approach to concepting I had discovered during research.
